RGM RATING (????????)

“Bacardi” has led to some very interesting nights for me…

Kid Riz is a singer/songwriter that hails from the great city that is Montreal. At the age of 14, he found a love for music through listening to songs by Bruno Mars, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Drake, and more. These days, the 19-year-old is fully immersed into the music scene. A song that I guarantee will make you a believer in Kid Riz’s style is “Bacardi.”

According to Kid Riz, “Bacardi” is about “admiring the desires and dreams of a strong independent girl who feels that she craves more of what present life is offering her.” That is a very debonair way to describe this song. Anywho, what I love about “Bacardi” is that it features this R&B/Afrobeat sound that will make women wine their hips and fellas act like they can keep up with the women that are wining their hips. I also like that the song boasts lyrics that will resonate with former partygoers like myself (I’m living vicariously through you, Riz).
