Logic Releases His Third Single “SOLD OUT” From His Upcoming Album

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

Logic brags about always being “SOLD OUT,” but right now, it just feels like he’s a SELL OUT.

The rapper, singer, songwriter, and MC we know as Logic is back with a new single, “SOLD OUT,” as he gears up for his upcoming album SIDEQUEST. Over the last decade, Logic has made a name for himself in mainstream music through honest, thought-provoking lyrics and a loyal fanbase drawn to his openness about mental health, personal growth, and identity.

But with this latest track, things take a sharp left turn.

Let’s be real: “SOLD OUT” is… a lot. The song starts with a nearly promising intro, but it quickly dives into unfamiliar territory. Logic leans into an electronic-infused sound that feels disjointed from his usual style. The first verse brings some relief with actual bars, but once the hook kicks in—repeating “SOLD OUT” and “MONEY” over and over—it’s hard not to feel like the creativity got lost somewhere in the process.

While SOLD OUT may have slightly more redeeming qualities than his two previous singles, it still feels like Logic is stuck in a sonic identity crisis. Longtime fans might find themselves wondering: who exactly is this track for?
