First Day Out
Fetty Wap
RGM RATING (??????)
I don’t know about y’all, but I love it when rappers drop “First Day Out” tracks after they’ve been released from jail.
Fetty Wap is in some deep s**t. About one week after he released his The Butterfly Effect album, Fetty was arrested right before his scheduled Rolling Loud performance. Word on the street is that he was charged with transporting, distributing, and selling more than 100 kilograms of deadly drugs (Including Fentanyl). Now that he is out on bail, Fetty decided to release “First Day Out,” an emotional banger that somewhat describes why he is who he is.

Fetty Wap uses “First Day Out” as an opportunity to address his foes, his legal situation, and his state of mind. The song features a piano-driven instrumental that forces Fetty to hit us with some “Yea Babys” and some moving vocals. I can easily see Lil Durk making a song like this.
Holy s**t, what is Fetty Wap doing with Fentanyl?
