Joyner Lucas & Lil Durk Go “Rambo” In New Single

Rambo

Joyner Lucas & Lil Durk

RGM RATING (??????)

When is Hollywood going to do a Rambo reboot (I mean, we are tired of y’all remaking Spiderman every year)?

I don’t know about y’all, but I love that Joyner Lucas is starting to work with the poppin’ Lils of the world. This year, the Worcester rapper has worked with both Lil Baby and Lil Tjay. Today, Joyner decided to release his collaboration single with Lil Durk called “Rambo.”

“Rambo” is powered by a beat that sounds eerily similar to the beat that powers J. Cole’s “a m a r i” track. Well, just like Cole, Joyner relies on both passionate melodic raps and gritty raps to prove that he’s really about that life in the song. As for featured guest Lil Durk, he follows in Joyner’s footsteps from a stylistic standpoint; he just sounds a lot less aggressive and violent (Joyner thought that he was gonna get demon Durk on this song… I don’t know why, it’s Christmas time).

This song just sounds off (The two rappers’ styles just don’t fit together, to me)…
