I’ve been listening to Mary J. Blige’s music for over 20 years now. Based on my experiences listening to her songs, what I can tell you is this: She is at her best when she is on some dramatic heartbreak s**t. Mary is also really good when she’s happy. Today, the R&B queen decided to release “Amazing,” a track in which she glows.

“Amazing” is not amazing. I don’t really care for the song’s beat, melodies, or cliche lyrics. What I do like about the song is its spirit. It will put a smile on your face and turn a Monday into a Friday. I also like Khaled’s adlibs in the background.
