New Orleans, Louisiana-based creative, Bemo Rouge, is a rising artist and producer with an attention-grabbing style. According to a 2021 interview with the creator, Bemo Rouge’s long-standing passion for making music initially started when he was only 13 years old. He claims rock and hip-hop were his biggest influences growing up. His sound is heavily influenced by emo and pop-punk and combines both with hip-hop elements for a unique, melodic sound. To date, Bemo’s most popular song is “Catch My Breath,” which can be found on Spotify and YouTube. His latest release is the hip-hop/rap single “I Wanna Know.”
Despite being a hip-hop track, there are plenty of pop elements present in “I Wanna Know.” Both the backdrop and the melodic vocals have catchy, early 2000s emo/punk-pop vibes that feel wonderfully nostalgic.
