G-Herbo Is “Locked In” In New Single

Locked In

G-Herbo

RGM RATING (????????)

G-Herbo sounds gassed up in this track.

I’m not going to lie, I f**king love it when G-Herbo spits bars over soulful instrumentals. What I love even more is when he sounds on beat over soulful instrumentals… What “Locked In” reminded me is that beggars can’t be choosers.

Old-school Jay-Z, Cam’ron, and Jim Jones used to be the only ones worthy of spitting bars over the kind of instrumental that you hear on “Locked In;” after hearing what Herbo has been doing these last two years, you may have to add him to that list. With that being said, I do admit, I don’t quite love the rapping performance that he puts up in this particular song. Don’t get me wrong, his content is strong (He raps about his quick temper, big bank, and violent ways), I just feel like his flows turn a little shaky towards the end of the song. At least his shape-up is fresh on the artwork to the song (Hold up, that’s not him in the artwork? Aw s**t).

G-Herbo is a different breed.
