Kali Sade

RGM RATING (????????)

A lofi, slow-burning rap song that reflects on relationships.

Kali Sade is a seventeen-year-old singer-songwriter from Milledgeville, Georgia. Her grandfather, Kenny Kelsey, significantly influenced her decision to start making music. After a few years of practice, Sade began performing in churches, schools, and local talent shows. Her musical influences are Jamie Foxx, Tupac, Bryson Tiller, and Lauren Hill. As a result, her style mixes traditional R&B with a hip-hop flow. Sade’s latest drop is the single “3:30.”

Sade sounds like a veteran musician in “3:30;” even though she’s only seventeen years old. She starts off with solid, commanding vocals, letting her presence be felt. Topic-wise, “3:30” is about a wishy-washy man, and all Sade wants is some early morning antics. Well, her fling thinks she’s annoying, and even though she could be out by herself, Sade points out that it’s not nearly as fun. This is a song many can identify with because we have all experienced that kind of relationship. So, stream Kali Sade’s “3:30” for a relatable music experience.
