TOVA’s voice can move mountains.

There are some musicians that I think that GOD added extra butter to when he created them; TOVA is one of those musicians. Not only does he have a great voice and outstanding songwriting skills, but he also has an ear for music that is comparable to the greats. Recently, TOVA released a brand new EP called The Girls. In it, you get four very hypnotizing and well-structured tracks. One of the tracks from the EP that will catch your attention is “Outside.”

In “Outside,” TOVA sings about the importance of veering toward the people that compliment you as opposed to the people that don’t. What I think makes the song captivating is that it features a dramatic instrumental that has its fair share of sunlit moments, a spell-binding vocal performance that is powered by silky melodies that would make The Weeknd proud, and lyrics that are pieced together in a delicate and unique way. If you are enamored by songs that are capable of taking your soul on a ride to the clouds, “Outside” is perfect for you.
