Sorry, Peach Spills Their Hearts Out In “I’ve Been Feeling Lonely”

I’ve Been Feeling Lonely

Sorry, Peach

RGM RATING (????????)

A vintage-sounding pop tune with modern messages.

Upstate South Carolina-based musical group, Sorry, Peach, is a dynamic indie-pop band. While the group was initially assembled for educational purposes, they are now making boundaryless music. Matter of fact, I think they have the energy of a rock band and a sound similar to the Indigo Girls. Since the release of their first single, “Solitude,” Sorry, Peach has opened for artists such as Betty Who. Additionally, they’ve grown their fan base by gaining plays on Spotify, YouTube, and their own website. Sorry, Peach’s newest pop track is “I’ve Been Feeling Lonely.”

“I’ve Been Feeling Lonely” explores the downsides of being in an unhealthy relationship in a roundabout way. It admits feelings but doesn’t admit the pain that comes with them immediately. Instead, the song belongs to someone who would rather fix a relationship than break it. Lyrics like “I’ve been trying to pacify the feelings that I’ve felt for some time” and “Know that I’ll regret this, but when I wake up right beside you, I forget about the things you do” look at the reality of trying to move on from an unreliable partner. Overall, the song reflects the old styles listeners love with new messages in them. I think it is the perfect pop tune to take you through a whirlwind of emotions. So, stream Sorry, Peach’s “I’ve Been Feeling Lonely” today for an emotional ride.
