CeJay is a Puerto Rican hip-hop artist from Charlotte, North Carolina that is capable of making blazin’ hot R&B, hip-hop, pop, and Latin tunes. Since releasing his first full body of work in 2018, he has kept his foot on the gas, blessing us with numerous singles and a couple of projects. One thing that I like about CeJay is that he doesn’t hold back his emotions when he makes music. A bunch of his songs feature soul-clenching vibes and words that are insanely honest. CeJay’s latest single, “Changed Up,” perfectly exemplifies what he’s all about.
From the moment that you press play on “Changed Up,” you will drown in its emotional vibes. For starters, the song features this dramatic/hard-hitting instrumental that might make some people two-step and might make others wipe tears off their faces. CeJay does a fantastic job of getting lost in the instrumental, relying on highly intoxicating melodies to let off his views on personal growth and how it may impact the people around you either negatively or positively.
