Kevin Gates is easily one of the hardest-working rappers in the game today. He’s also one of the most honest rappers in the game. These last couple of days, Gates has been letting the world know that he’s in a very good place, and that might be because he is a single man now. In “Super General (Freestyle),” he speaks his mind both fearlessly and recklessly.
“Super General (Freestyle)” is a whopping 5:37 long. Within that time, Gates spits truthful bars about his weight loss, his time in jail, his past drug issues, his conversion to Islam, and his recent troubles with Dreka Gates. In the midst of his powerful words, Kevin finds a way to ride the classic “Super Gremlin” beat really well.
I am legit sad that Kevin and Dreka might not be together anymore.
