Tears Gone Come
Kodak Black (Ft. Future)
I’m so glad that Kodak Black and Future are still cool.
One of the funniest videos I’ve ever seen, which was uploaded in 2016, features Kodak Black asking Future to explain a questionable line he made on “Low Life.” Though it seems like Hendrix was a little annoyed by Kodak’s question, he still answered it. I have some good news for you: The two rappers are still friends today. On Friday, they released a collaboration track called “Tears Gone Come.”
Since “Tears Gone Come” is about surviving the trials and tribulations that come with being a trap ninja, you get very passionate vocal performances out of both Future and Kodak Black. While I won’t quite say they come across as the best duo since Michael and Paul, I do think they successfully make listeners feel something with their melodies. All in all, “Tears Gone Come” is a solid street banger that exemplifies what the two rappers are all about.
