So, is ‘Up N Stuck’ New York lingo (I heard Cardi say it, too)?
This morning, I was blindsided by the news that Lil Tjay was shot multiple times last night. I really hope he is fine because the New York drill scene has suffered a lot of losses as of late. Someone we might soon lose is 22Gz. This past weekend, he was charged with attempted murder. Before s**t gets really real for him, he decided to hit us with a brand new track called “Up N Stuck” featuring Kodak Black.
I clicked on this song because it said it featured Kodak, but left very impressed with what 22Gz was able to offer. Over a drill beat that sounds like it has tear drops tatted close to its eyes, 22 hits us with a verse in which he f**ks with crafty flows and murderous lyrics. As for Kodak, I love how he turns up his demonic levels a little bit but still remains the gutter slur king himself on his verse. Overall, I f**k with this track a lot.
It makes sense to be outside in New York… Apartments are expensive as hell everywhere there (Inflation doesn’t discriminate on the hoods there).
