Los Angeles-based musical creative, Prophete, is an emerging multi-talented singer, producer, songwriter, and audio engineer who was raised in Haiti. He grew up exposed to a wide variety of artists, including Nat King Cole, The Platters, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, and others in the American music industry. Prophete started his musical journey as a hobby back in 2010. By 2016, he decided to pursue music seriously. Prophete has since received his Master’s in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation from Berkeley College of Music. His goal is “to bring the world joy through his records.” Prophete’s discography is available on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. His latest drop is the single “On Top.” The song also has an accompanying music video.
While the title indicates that this is a hard rap song, it is actually a vibrant, sun-soaked summer piece. “On Top” provides an instant mini-vacation with its tropical dancehall vibes.
