Pres and Adriel Rivera

A bedroom pop gem filled with sun and goodness.

Chicago-based musician, Adriel Rivera, is a Latin-American pop artist who fuses modern styles with the right amount of indie. Despite being only 21 years old, Rivera is already considered to be a bedroom pop sensation (He has accumulated more than 1.9 million streams on Spotify, more than 2 million views on YouTube, and 2.7 million views on TikTok). With a strong love for music, the artist is involved in every aspect of it; this includes songwriting, producing, directing, and editing. Similarly, he is widespread in his reach. His music is available on Spotify, YouTube, and his own website. For his new pop single, “omw,” Adriel Rivera teamed up with Chicagoland rapper Pres. The new track also features an accompanying music video.

This is a tale best described as sunny side up and love-inducing, which is ironic because “omw” is about a lighthearted tale of love. It’s pure, simple, and sweet (Like sugar), but doesn’t quite sound like your typical bubblegum pop track. Lyrics like “You can’t say we’re not bonding in so many ways” and “Baby, we got a good thing, and I like it. Somehow, I think you feel me, so let’s try it” provide us with plenty of heartfelt declarations. Clearly, this artist wants his feelings known. By giving us sweet moments and an uplifting soundscape, “omw” becomes the perfect feel-good vibe. You’ll want to listen to it on repeat as you picnic in the park. So, stream Adriel Rivera and Pres’s “omw” to get on that romantic date.
