Benjamin A.D Grows Toxic In “All On Me”

Benjamin A.D. Claims It's "All On Me"

All On Me

Benjamin A.D.

A rap song that blurs the line between R&B and messy relationships.

South London native, Benjamin A.D, is a musician and lyricist that has a style that not only takes from classic R&B but also shows appreciation of his London home and the music within. In 2019, the artist dropped a few singles, including his debut, “When It Don’t Make Sense.” Recently, Benjamin released his debut EP, MOOD. All of his music is available on Spotify, YouTube, and SoundCloud. A year later, Benjamin A.D’s latest single, “All On Me,” graced our presence. The song also has an accompanying music video.

In “All On Me,” Benjamin A.D risks everything he and his significant other built to bear his soul out to the girl of his dreams. As is traditional in tragedy, though, she pulls away. Even in their back and forth, Benjamin still hopes she sees that he’s the one for her. This song explores the addictiveness of a toxic relationship and withdrawals after losing it. A.D perfectly captures the theme with a hypnotical, slow tempo rhythm that blends the elements of hard-hitting trap beats and the clean, silky sound of R&B. What tops this song is Benjamin’s sultry voice perfectly tying into the overall vibes, making it an automatic repeat for me. Though he’s underground to most people, he’s making a name for himself in the U.K. So, get into your feelings and listen to Benjamin A.D.’s “All On Me” below.
