Lost Without You
Drew Schueler
A pop gem that throws us back ten years.
Nashville, TN-based musical creative, Drew Schueler, is a rising pop artist who has a style similar to Lauv, Justin Bieber, and LANY. Schueler’s unique sound is filled with vibrant vocals and melodies, as well as electric guitar, electro-pop synth textures, and programmed beats. Before he released his debut EP, Schueler worked with alternative pop bands before shifting his focus to his own creations. “I have always been fascinated by all aspects of creating music,” the artist said. These individual pieces are available on Spotify, YouTube, and his own website. One of Drew Schueler’s recent releases is the pop single “Lost Without You.”
We’ll head back to 2010’s pop phase with some early country feelings thrown in. “Lost Without You” does indeed imitate Bieber’s original pieces, but also contains a bit more love in the words. Lyrics like “I want to let you know, sometimes I feel so hollow” and “Ooh, I’ve wasted so much time chasing every high. The only thing I’ve found, I’d be lost without you” reminisce on a special someone that’s deeply impacted Schueler. Besides this, absolute romance is evident, but what’s more important are the different genres woven in. This new single is full of beautiful country, a little R&B, and a lot of nostalgic pop. It’s full of almost everything that a pop song could ever want to be successful. So, press play on Drew Schueler’s “Lost Without You” to let its touching words warm your heart.
