Metaverse: The NFT Drop, Vol. 2 (Album)
Snoop Dogg has been cooking with plantain oil as of late.
Everybody knows that plantain oil is hotter than fire! Anywho, lately, Snoop Dogg has had his hands in a bunch of s**t. In the past twelve months, he has starred in a movie with Jamie Foxx, has been on numerous game shows, and even became the CEO of Death Row records. At his core, though, Snoop is a musician. The good news is this: He hasn’t stopped wearing that hat. This weekend, the Long Beach rapper decided to release Metaverse: The NFT Drop, Vol. 2, a project that features vintage rap performances, chill vibes, and old faces.
Out of all of the projects that Snoop Dogg has released in the last two years, this one sounds the most Snoopish, to me. In it, he raps over smooth beats, LA-inspired beats, Neptunes-like beats, and everything in between. He even has a song with Warren G and Nate Dogg on the album! All in all, I think this well-crafted project is a damn good listen.
