There’s been tension between Lil Tjay and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s camps for years now.

Over the weekend, Lil Tjay dropped a dope-ass freestyle over 50 Cent’s classic “Many Men” beat. While he spent a good chunk of his time rapping about his resiliency, he also called out one of A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Don Q’s affiliates. Yesterday, the latter decided to respond to Lil Tjay with his own 50 Cent-inspired track.

In “IDK,” Don Q calls out Lil Tjay for dry snitching and copying A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s style. He also says that he is glad Tjay didn’t die (I respect that). While the main reason I like the song is that it gives me flashbacks to one of 50’s best tracks to date (“I Don’t Know, Officer”), kudos must go to Don Q for sounding ghoulish and mean as hell over the cold beat.

Only rappers would diss someone who is recovering from gunshot wounds.
