Morgan Wallen’s “I’m The Problem” is showing serious staying power.
According to HITSDD, I’m The Problem is expected to move 81,000 units this week, enough to reclaim the top spot on the Billboard 200. If it does, the album will officially notch its 13th week at No. 1, further solidifying Wallen’s dominance in the current album era.
Released last May, I’m The Problem made a massive impact upon arrival, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about country albums of the year. Nearly a year later, it’s clear the momentum hasn’t slowed. Whether it’s new listeners discovering the project or longtime fans keeping it in rotation, the album’s longevity is impressive by any standard.
The sprawling 37-track tracklist plays a big role in that staying power. Wallen packed the project with a wide range of sounds and collaborators, including Tate McRae, Eric Church, HARDY, Post Malone, and more. The variety gives listeners plenty to return to, helping the album feel more like a playlist you live with than a one-time listen.
At a time when most albums experience a steep drop-off after release, I’m The Problem making a late-stage comeback speaks volumes. Morgan Wallen continues to prove that his grip on the charts — and his audience — is far from fading.
