I’m rooting for Trippie Redd. I truly believe that he does things that no one else in the hip-hop game does. With that being said, I feel like Trippie’s next project release has to hit harder than Mike Tyson to prove that he’s still that guy. Today, the Ohio rapper decided to release two new singles: “Save Me Please” and 1st Degree Murder.”

In “Save Me Please,” Trippie Redd sings passionately about wanting to be saved from himself and forgiven by someone that is dear to him. In “1st Degree Murder,” he sings passionately about killing someone who doesn’t respect his woman. While both songs boast tons of emotion, in the former, you get a very vulnerable Trippie, while in the latter, you get more of an aggressive Trippie. I think the two songs are flames.
If we get this version of Trippie on his forthcoming album, I will be a very happy camper.
