G.L.H.

Cam’ron, Mase & Jadakiss

Wait, what?

I sometimes wonder how many hit records Cam’ron and Mase would’ve created together if they didn’t start beefing in the late 90s/early 2000s. I say 1000. Randomly, the two Harlem rappers decided to reunite (Along with Jadakiss) for a brand new track called “G.L.H.”

If I were to guess, Cam’ron was the one that put this song together. “G.L.H.” features the kind of beat that the Dipset honcho has been killing for years. With that being said, like true professionals, Jadakiss and Mase find ways to be productive over the beat. All three rappers do effective jobs of reminding the world that the streets raised them, that their bank accounts are still loaded, and that they are still slaying the baddest chicks on the globe. I don’t know what this song means in the grand scheme of things, but what I will tell you is this: It made my ears do a double-take.

No offense, but pastors like Mase are the reason I don’t go to church anymore.
