Whipp’n It Slowly

French Montana

Warning: There is awful singing in this song.

I think it’s safe to say that “Killing Me Softly” is one of the greatest hip-hop songs of all time. Lauryn Hill’s performance on the track always gives me chills when I listen to it. Today, French Montana decided to release “Whipp’n It Slowly,” a track that samples “Killing Me Softly.” His performance on the track gives me the kind of chills that you get when you feel sick.

“Whipp’n It Slowly” probably won’t be nominated for a Grammy. In the song, French Montana uses God-awful singing to shout out all of the dope boys of the world. Thankfully, he drops a normal rap verse that evens s**t out just a little. At the end of the day, I think this song is capable of shattering eardrums, breaking glasses, and encouraging a NATO response.
