Shut Me Up

Landon Sears

A hip-hop creation with plenty of charm.

Nashville, Tennessee-based musical creative, Landon Sears, is a hip-hop and R&B artist who crafts versatile pieces. With his love for creating, Sears’s capability as a multi-instrumentalist and producer has assisted him in creating his signature sound. His vocals have been described as “harmonically explosive and rhythmically alluring.” Clearly, he has a way about him. Some of his previous work includes tracks like “Sweet,” “Next Time We’re Flying,” and “I Won’t Do U Like That.” All of these, and more, are available on Spotify, YouTube, and SoundCloud. Landon Sears’s latest drop is the hip-hop single “Shut Me Up.” The song also has an accompanying official lyric video.

By starting out with jazzy instrumentals, “Shut Me Up” provides the perfect dance-ready blend of beats. At the same time, it sets itself up for a romantic reflection. In the end, we’re left with the ultimate combination. Lyrics like “Looking too fine for me to try to argue with you / said a couple lines, now you can see the spark up in ya” and “I whisper in your ear / you just can’t talk too much” plead the artist’s case as he attempts to charm that lady that caught his eye. We’ve all had that same experience with someone. However, Sears makes sure we know how it ends. With its lovely ear-pleaser sound, Sears gifts us a lighthearted listen. Certainly, it will have you grooving along in no time. So, press play “Shut Me Up” below.
