A fun and funky bop that will get you grooving.
London-based artist SmashHarry is a singer, songwriter, producer, author, and entrepreneur who somehow still finds time to sharpen his craft.
His stage name, born from a friend’s joke in 2017, has since grown into a brand tied to a wide range of creative work. Beyond performing, he’s contributed jazz, Latin, and blues piano instrumentals to Pianist Magazine, while also writing a six-part series on jazz improvisation for its online platform. Busy is an understatement, but he never loses sight of the music.
SmashHarry’s latest release is the pop single “(Hold On) Saturday Night,” which also comes with a music video.
Blending funky disco grooves with bright pop elements, “(Hold On) Saturday Night” feels like the kind of track that deserves to live on the radio. It’s upbeat, dance-ready, and built to keep you moving. Lyrics like “Can’t help but lose myself to you, right now / Oh you’re the drug I seek, my dopamine” and “Just hold on, DJ keep the decks spinning, need to feel I’m winning” capture that carefree, feel-good energy.
Packed with retro flair and positivity, SmashHarry delivers a track that’s perfect for letting loose and owning the night.
