SmashHarry

A fun and funky bop that will get you grooving.

London-based musical creative, SmashHarry, is a singer, songwriter, music producer, author, and entrepreneur. With so much to do, the artist has still somehow managed to dedicate plenty of time to perfecting his craft. His moniker was conceived in 2017 thanks to a joke made by one of his friends. In addition to performing, SmashHarry has also been writing jazz, Latin, and blues piano instrumentals for Pianist Magazine. Additionally, he has been writing a six-part series in Jazz Improvisation for the mag online. Clearly, he’s a busy artist, but never too busy to forget what’s most important. SmashHarry’s unique work is available on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. His latest drop is the pop single “(Hold On) Saturday Night.” The song also has an accompanying video.

Between funky disco beats and pop sounds, “(Hold On) Saturday Night” reminds us of the kind of song that’s always playing on the radio. It’s uplifting and dance-ready, intending to get you grooving all night long. Lyrics like “Can’t help but lose myself to you, right now / Oh you’re the drug I seek, my dopamine” and “Just hold on, DJ keep the decks spinning, need to feel I’m winning” keep the good vibes going strong. With no shortage of upbeat retro elements and plenty of positive energy, SmashHarry gifts a feel-good jam for the weekend. So, press play and get down on the dance floor with SmashHarry’s “(Hold On) Saturday Night.”
