Morray’s music hits harder than Blueface.

Hey, her dad hit Blue first! Anywho, in a world that has emotional artists such as Rod Wave, NBA YoungBoy, and Polo G, Morray is someone that holds his own when it comes to dropping passionate trap bangers. While the North Carolina native is known for singing fearlessly, in his latest release, “Da Rant,” he actually hits us with impactful raps.

“Da Rant” is powered by the kind of beat that you would hear in one of those ‘5 AM in such and such’ type tracks that Drake usually adds to a project. Over it, Morray keeps it a stack about meeting expectations, getting it out of the mud, and reaching Jay-Z’s level career-wise. What I love about the song is how raw it sounds. In it, Morray doesn’t worry about how appealing he sounds; instead, he worries about how hard his messages hit.
