Her Old Friends

PARTYNEXTDOOR

The last time I went to a party next door, I blacked out from drinking too much Everclear.

I hate to be rude, but where the hell has PARTYNEXTDOOR been all of these years (And don’t tell me that he’s been at a party next door)? When he was consistently releasing music, he legit was one of my favorite artists. Whatever the case may be, today, PND decided to return to the music scene with “Her Old Friends,” a track in which he sounds like his vintage self.

PARTYNEXTDOOR comes across like the ultimate playa in half of this song; in the other half, he sounds like Captain Save-A-Chick. Even though “Her Old Friends” boasts a silky R&B instrumental (Produced by OG Parker) and passionate vocals, you get pretty blunt lyrics out of the Canadian artist. Honestly, I think his bluntness is the only thing that works for this song…

This might be one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard.
