Here’s the thing: I like slowthai, but I hate it when my Thai is slowly delivered to me via uberEats (OK, I tried that joke and it didn’t work). Anywho, the main message I wanted you to get from that terrible sentence is that I am a huge fan of the UK rapper. The good news is this: slowthai is prepping to release a brand new album called Ugly on March 3. The first single from the project is “Selfish.”

You get nothing but mayhem in “Selfish.” In the song, which is powered by this fierce, uptempo rock beat, slowthai coldly, creepily, and ferociously lets listeners know that he’s on to the world’s misconceptions and cruel ideals. Ultimately, he states that he is intent on “thinking for himself.” While I highly doubt that the song will get played at Stadium this weekend, I do think fans of vulnerable music will soak it all the way up.
