An R&B song that will make you miss your ex.

Hailing from Somerset, New Jersey, SupremeDae is a rising singer and rapper. As a child, he was always around music. Dae and his uncle would watch MTV Jams together while writing raps for fun. Eventually, this led the young rapper to want to pursue a career in music. A few of SupremeDae’s influences include Drake, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne. Taking those artists as inspiration, he’s made his own lane with music that features raw lyrics and unique melodies. SupremeDae’s impressive discography is available on Spotify, YouTube, and SoundCloud. His most recent release is the calm single “Special.” The song also has an accompanying music video.

You will get a Cloud 9 feeling after listening to this song. You’ll be stuck in a daydream about love, or perhaps find yourself thinking about a love you once had like SupremeDae does. For him, it was a love that was gentle and tender but eventually turned sour. Because of its good parts, it’s never truly left his mind. Romantic yet witty rhymes help to put feelings into words as SupremeDae reminisces on past memories. There’s no loss of art, just a loss of love that inspired it. By switching between singing and rapping, SP shows off the duality of his mind and craft.

Though this breakup has left Dae struck, he’s created a song that makes him vulnerable enough for us to understand. So, press play below to learn how it feels to lose that “Special” someone.
