DJ Drama Recruits Lil Baby & A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie For “HO4ME”

HO4ME

DJ Drama (Ft. Lil Baby & A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie)

DJ Drama announces that he is in “album mode” in this song.

I absolutely love the flowers that DJ Drama is getting as of late. When I was in high school, I f**ked with his mixtapes so much, I created a fake album for a school project and called it some Gangsta Grillz s**t without legal consent. Anywho, it seems like Drama is prepping to release a brand-new album really soon. Since he’s cool to folks again, I expect some pretty big names to be on the project. The first single from it, “HO4ME,” features Lil Baby and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

In “HO4ME,” Lil Baby and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie primarily talk about the tug-o-war that occurs in the relationships that they enter (I say primarily because A Boogie does veer off course at times and talks about shooting people up). Throughout the song, which is powered by this early 2000s-Esque R&B beat, Lil Baby and A Boogie primarily sound subdued (I say primarily because A Boogie bounces off the walls at a certain point). All in all, this is the perfect commercial single to get things started for Drama.

I just got the title. Holy s**t, I am slow (I thought they were trying to spell ‘home’ in a ratchet way).
