LA-based singer and songwriter, Emei, breaks barriers in alternative pop. At the age of 15, she started out as a performer on the reality TV show Chinese Idol. As a result, she started to gain attention from others, which in turn helped to build up her music career. This career starts and ends in pop music, specifically alternative pop. In 2021, Emei released her debut single “Distracted.” She then followed up with pop hits such as “Left To The Party,” “Better To Leave People On Read,” and “That Girl” in 2022.
