Fritz Hager Won't Forget "Caroline"

Caroline

Fritz Hager

A fun indie track about “the morning after.”

Texas native, Fritz Hager, is an indie singer and songwriter. Though he refers to himself as an “indie guy,” he’s known to break out and explore other genres. Growing up a preacher’s child and a member of a choir helped Hager foster his love of music. His musical influences include The Killers, Oasis, Ed Sheeran, Phillip Phillips, and others. Seeing Phillip Phillips audition and go on to win American Idol inspired Hager to do the same. He was able to compete on the show, finishing in the top 5 in the 20th season. While on the show, Hager released his self-titled debut EP. Since completing Idol, he has been working to fine-tune his sound. His discography is available on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. Fritz Hager’s newest single is “Caroline.” The song also has an accompanying music video.

“Caroline” has all the fun and exciting elements you’d find in a romantic comedy. Hager, with a foggy brain, tells a story that’s quite familiar to us all. It all started when he woke up from a one-night stand. A mysterious girl is in his bed, leaving him love-struck. Not sure what the girl’s actual name is, he calls her Caroline. Though it was only a single night of passion, Hager wants more from Miss Caroline. While speaking on how he tried to get his girl, Hager showcases some pretty raw vocals; he sounds unpredictable but full of zeal and fluctuates at each line in the song. With a strong rock-heavy beat, Hager beautifully tells a ‘How I Met Your Mother Tale.’ So, stream “Caroline” to hear a song that shows love doesn’t have to end after one night.
