Street Opera

Swizz Beatz, BIA, Fivio Foreign & SAINt JHN

Everyone comes out swinging in this mean-ass drill banger.

Personally, my favorite hip-hop posse cuts are the ones that feature artists with completely different styles. The days of listening to hip-hop songs with a bunch of dudes that sound the same are over. The reason I bring this up is that a new track called “Street Opera” with Swizz Beatz, BIA, Fivio Foreign, and SAINt JHN hit streaming services today… Is that not the most random lineup you’ve ever seen?

“Street Opera” boasts a drill beat with an opera singer, so that should already tell you how different the song is. Over it, everyone eats. While Fivio Foreign and BIA both rely on rap deliveries that straddle the line between aggressive and sly, SAINt JHN’s contributions straddle the line between boisterous and gritty. As unorthodox as the lineup is, it works!

On International Women’s month, BIA washed Fivio Foreign and SAINt JHN.
