Hit-Boy & Nas Both Rap In “The Tide”

The Tide

Hit-Boy (Ft. Nas)

Hit-Boy and Nas are like 55-0 in the last three years.

A lot of people don’t know that Hit-Boy can rap his ass off. Matter of fact, I initially heard about him through his solo singles. With that being said, in the super producer’s latest release, “The Tide,” he goes toe to toe with one of the greatest rappers of all time: Nas.

“The Tide” is broken into two parts: A soulful part and a slick part. In the former, you get introspective and hungry lyrics, while in the latter, you mainly get braggadocios lyrics. The combination of the two sides results in an action-packed banger that features some very impressive raps by both parties (Hit-Boy holds his own).
