6ix9ine Drops “Y Ahora” With Grupo Firme

Y Ahora

Tekashi 6ix9ine (Ft. Grupo Firme)

6ix9ine is trying to win a Latin Grammy.

If we are giving points to artists for reinventing themselves or being versatile, we have to applaud 6ix9ine’s ability to morph from a gangsta rapper to a full-blown Latin crooner. Since the beginning of the year, the “FEFE” creator has dropped nothing but Spanish-speaking music, leading me to question where his heart lies when it comes to genres. Today, 6ix9ine returned to the music scene with yet another Latin-inspired banger: “Y Ahora” with Grupo Firme.

In “Y Ahora,” 6ix9ine and Grupo Firme sing soulfully over a touching instrumental that boasts gentle guitar licks, some vivacious horns, and an easygoing tempo. Since the song is fully in Spanish, I can’t help you when it comes to finding out what is being said. What I can tell you is that this s**t sounds like it would fit perfectly in a Telenovela.

Which 6ix9ine do you prefer: Gang Member 6ix9ine or Crooner 6ix9ine?
