Canada-based, Nigerian-born musical creative, Davy Sage, is a pop and R&B singer and songwriter. His unique sound is a delightful “mix between Dancehall, Reggae, Afro-Pop, and R&B music.” Since beginning his musical journey, Sage has received attention from various media outlets, including CBC, CTV, and Global TV. The singer has also performed at festivals and toured in Canada with artists like Eddy Kenzo, Akon, Teni The Entertainer, and Gyptian. His discography is available on Spotify, SoundCloud, and Apple Music. One of Davy Sage’s recent releases is the R&B single “Hold Me” featuring Candian hip-hop artist LolaBunz.

“Hold Me” is all about having your partner’s back, especially during difficult times. Lyrics like “Looking for answers to heal me / But only you got the key to my heart, baby” and “Know that it gets real hard / But we really got the same mission” reflects on staying loyal throughout life’s hardships. At the same time, there’s so much to offer to any needy partner to reassure them of your love. All in all, this hit celebrates love during dark times.
