B2K Delivers an Infectious R&B Jam With “Lil Freak”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

B2K really be making hits.

I’ll be completely honest with you: It’s a little diabolical to be listening to B2K in 2026. However, I will say this: During their prime, they were making some solid music, even if you have too much testosterone in your body to admit it. Now they’re back with a new single, “Lil Freak,” and their album ECLIPSE on the way.

Frfr, if you don’t read the names of the artists who made this track, you would rock with it a lot. The production is upbeat but also gentle, making it a lot of fun to listen to while still maintaining its cuffing season power.

Everybody gets a chance to get down vocally, with Omarion leading the way. His hook is a standout, but Raz B, J-Boog, and Lil Fizz all help make the track feel complete. What they end up delivering is something extra catchy, infectious, and soulful.

Lil Fizz even throws down some raps, closing the track in style. All in all, I think “Lil Freak” is pretty good. Put the jokes aside for a second and give these dudes their credit.
