RANGE
Afta Hill
An alternative hip-hop track designed for a late-night cruise.
Toronto, Canada-based musical creative, Afta Hill, is a multi-talented Iranian-Canadian producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, rapper, and filmmaker. Afta first began making his own beats when he was a teenager and started producing music not long after. He first gained mainstream recognition after his tracks, under the moniker Safakash, were featured in Casey Neistat’s YouTube videos. These songs, and more, are available on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. The rapper’s personal life, as well as his music, has always been influenced by his experiences as an immigrant. Afta Hill’s latest drop is the alternative hip-hop single “RANGE.” The song also has an accompanying official music video.
“RANGE” is laidback and yet somehow bouncy enough to make us move. Lyrics like “Pull up in that Range Rover / Keep going until we’re pulled over / Thelma and Louise going over” and “We all alone, with these views up on Mullholand drive / I say you make the view complete and then you roll your eyes” provide a lighthearted romantic tale perfect for a long drive. Along with some playful visuals that see the artist head to a car rental, we’re in every position for a fun drive. So, crank up the volume on Afta Hill’s new single “RANGE.”
