Sydney-based artist, Nick Marcus, brings the soul into his music. He also channels his inner, rawest emotions and past experiences to give fans “feeling back” music. Marcus released his first single, “Not Him,” in 2020. He followed that up with “Medusa” and his debut album, Songs for the Weekend, a year later. Marcus’s discography is available on Spotify, YouTube, and SoundCloud. His latest single, “Lost In You,” is emotional and honest. The song also has an accompanying official music video.
“Lost In You” is a song that, ironically, we can get lost in. This emotional rollercoaster of a hit will give you flashbacks to your most toxic relationship. Because of love’s tight grip, Marcus doesn’t know if he’ll ever be free. However, he does explore the messiness within his relationship, since the thought of losing love pains him enough to make him stay. There’s a sense of nostalgia and wishing for older, better times, but they are long gone. This track consists of fresh contemporary R&B and indie-soul elements with perfect crisp vocals that fans of old and new R&B will love.
