F**k it, I will go ahead and say it: Until Doja Cat comes out with a new album, I have Coi Leray as the top female hip-hop artist in the game today. What I love about the songs she’s been releasing lately is that they are fun to listen to. Like, whenever “Players” comes on, even the guys dating women who are actual players get hyped up. Soon, Leray will release a brand new album called COI. The latest single from it, “Run It Up,” hit streaming services today.

“Run It Up” is full of energy. In the song, which is powered by this sparkling/booming beat, Coi Leray bounces off the walls, switching between high-pitched and aggressive cadences. She also toys with autotune a little. As for lyrically, Coi talks her s**t throughout, promoting her cold heart and carefree mentality. If you are someone that thought they had a chance at wifing the rapper, based on her lyrics in this song, guess again.
