I was thrown into chill tones with atmospheric beats that made me feel like I was floating. As its title suggests, “High Vibrations” offers a haunting soundscape and a low humming background. If you’ve ever wanted to dream you were floating in space, this may be a way to get started. Lyrics like “We could’ve been a wild ride, I should’ve told you last night, Can’t get you outta my mind” and “You give me high vibrations, I get deep sensations, I can feel temptation taking over me” are gorgeously delivered by the artist’s sweet and sensual vocals. The seductive tale of the all-consuming feeling of falling in love is the main message. However, I can’t help but feel like I’ve got some psychedelic experience going on when I listen.
