OK, I’m not going to lie, I didn’t have a 2023 collaboration track with Lil Wayne, Tyga, and Mario on my bingo card. While Wayne pretty much works with anyone, Tyga is slightly selective with who he works with, and Mario has been away from the spotlight these past couple of years. With that being said, if you are someone down for some nostalgia today, I highly recommend you give “Main One” a shot.

“Main One” actually sounds like an old-ass song. Mario starts things off with a sly hook and verse that the players of the world will absolutely love. From there, we get a braggadocious, effortless verse by Tyga and a verse by Lil Wayne in which he goes with a frantic flow and comes across as a maniac that knows how to make women go crazy (Wayne’s verse doesn’t really fit, to me). All in all, I think this throwback hit will give you a blast to the past.

Mario made “Braid My Hair,” yet he’s the only one on this song without braids (It’s funny how much things change).
