Durk and Cudi sound really good together…
Lil Durk and Kid Cudi got it out of the mud in their own unique ways. While the former is known for being one the hardest rappers in the game, the latter is known for being a highly eclectic artist. That said, sometimes, oil and water mix (I saw it happen in Nigeria one time. It was probably juju). Today, a new single with Cudi and Durk hit streaming services.
“Guitar In My Room” is the perfect title for this soothing yet impactful track. With a guitar-heavy and mellow beat, Lil Durk and Kid Cudi deliver infectious vocal performances that beautifully emphasize their lyrical themes centered around reassuring their partners that they are in a relationship with someone who has evolved and become the best version of themselves. Interesting, Cudi sounds a lot less vulnerable and mushy than Durk does (Who would’ve thunk it).
