Lil Durk Releases “All My Life (Remixes)” With Burna Boy & Stray Kids

Rating: 3 out of 5.

“All My Life” might be my favorite track of 2023.

As a matter of fact, I think that “All My Life” might be the most refreshing hip-hop track to release in about three years. Everything from the choir’s contributions to Lil Durk’s verse about resiliency to J. Cole’s verse of the year resonated with me. Today, Durk decided to keep the classic record alive by releasing a few remixes to it.

There are two remixes: one by Stray Kids and one by Burna Boy. I hate to say it, especially as a Nigerian, but the former’s remix outshines the latter’s. I love the passionate vocals and the aggressive and confident raps in Stray Kids’ version. As for Burna Boy’s remix, it features his one-of-a-kind emphatic voice, which delves into the gentle production. It’s cool to listen to, but at the same time, I feel like he sounds a little too scattered. Whatever the case may be, I think it’s cool that Durk decided to do this.

Give both remixes to “All My Life” a shot below.
