Danny Brown Is Back With “Tantor”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Danny Brown has returned to scare more hoes.

I have a newfound appreciation for Danny Brown’s music after listening to his collaboration album with JPEGMAFIA called Scaring All The Hoes. Thankfully, it won’t be too much longer before we hear a new full-length album from Danny; he is prepping to release his first project in four years very soon. In the meantime, he dropped perhaps the first single from it yesterday: “Tantor.”

As anticipated, Danny Brown is vocally and lyrically off the chain in “Tantor.” Throughout the song, he uses animated deliveries to express his readiness for smoke, his disinterest in therapy, and his desire to take listeners on a crazier ride than Spirit (Actually, Spirit flights are pretty comfortable. It’s the overcharging that pisses folks off). While I appreciate Danny’s contributions, I must admit that it’s the electrifying rock-rap beat that captivates me the most.

Give the very entertaining “Tantor” a shot below.
