Lil Tjay & Kyle Richh Link Up For “I Should’ve Known”

Rating: 2 out of 5.

This is Lil Tjay’s first single since releasing his “222” album.

Lowkey, Lil Tjay has had a solid 2023. After overcoming some life-threatening injuries sustained in 2022, he made a strong comeback with his 222 album in July. Though we haven’t heard much from him lately, he made a return to the music scene today with a brand new single titled “I Should’ve Known.”

This is yet another emotional banger from Lil Tjay. “I Should’ve Known” talks about becoming a cold individual because someone did you wrong, whether it’s your friends or a significant other. While the featured guest, Kyle Richh, is the one who comes with the grungy, aggressive energy, it’s Tjay who provides the track, which is powered by a dramatic, slight drill beat, with soulful melodic raps. While I think the song is a solid listen, it does sound a little incomplete and low quality.

Give “I Should’ve Known” a shot below.
