NBA YoungBoy eats, sleeps, talks s**t on social media, and makes music.
NBA YoungBoy is a great example of why working from home is working for most Americans. Since being on house arrest in Utah, he has released a bunch of singles and even filmed music videos for them. Today, he returned to the music scene with a new single called “Slime Examination,” his 10780th.
I’ll be completely honest with you: This song is not my cup of tea at all. In “Slime Examination,” NBA YoungBoy pours his heart out, hitting us with sluggish, overly passionate vocals, some slight raps, and lyrical content that effectively switches between sounding like some vulnerable s**t and some trill s**t. Though I think there are some moments in which you hear his talent stand out, I just think the song’s structure sounds a little too all over the place. Nonetheless, it’s always cool hearing some new music from the Baton Rouge native.
Just a quick reminder: NBA YoungBoy is set to drop his upcoming album, Dedication 2.
