Megan Thee Stallion & Spiritbox Clash In “Cobra (Remix)”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I think “Cobra” needed an edgy remix like this.

Megan Thee Stallion‘s name has been dragged through the mud, stomped on, and left for dead. What’s truly commendable is her resilience in rising above the negativity without letting the haters triumph. In fact, through her music, she has consistently confronted her critics and expressed her truths admirably. In her most recent single, “Cobra,” I sense a level of boldness and unapologetic attitude that surpasses her previous works. My only critique of the original song is that it lacked the edginess I anticipated. However, in this remix, the track not only delivers the edge but tops it off with a damn cherry.

This rendition of “Cobra” exudes a heightened passion and edginess, featuring drums with a more impactful punch. The instrumental, in my opinion, perfectly complements Megan Thee Stallion’s rap style. If I were to download this song (though I probably won’t), it would undoubtedly be this version.

Megan Thee Stallion appears to shine even brighter when experimenting with different genres.
