KYLE and Teezo Touchdown make such a great duo.
People are beginning to recognize Teezo Touchdown’s impact on the hip-hop scene. Over the past few months, I’ve come across his outstanding contributions to Drake’s album, Travis Scott’s album, and his own solo project. As for KYLE, while he may not be as prominent as he once was, his music retains its relatable charm. “Somethin Bout U” sees the duo teaming up to deliver one of the most heartwarming bangers of 2023.
In “Somethin Bout U,” KYLE and Teezo let the world know just how special their chicks are. Though I’m sure there are rated R reasons for why they think so, they definitely keep it PG lyrically, saying your typical lovey-dovey s**t. The song starts out sounding like a 2023 version of LL Cool J’s “I Need Love,” but quickly morphs into this exciting, uptempo hip-hop/R&B banger that is very easy on the ears. As for the two artists, they hit us with infectious melodies that perfectly complement their soft vocals.
If Disney Kids were still a thing, Teezo and KYLE would undoubtedly be strong contenders for nominations.
